Home from Portugal holidays, 1965

June 11, 1965 - Paul and Jane arriving back in London from Albufeira, Portugal, where they had been holidaying since late May 1965. Brian Epstein asked Paul to come home from holidays a day earlier so he'd be around to talk to the press when the announcement was made that The Beatles had been awarded Members of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE).

Jane Asher goes on tour, 1967

Jane Asher had a five month tour of North America with the Bristol Old Vic Company performing in two Shakespearean plays; as Juliet Capulet in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and as Julietta in ‘Measure For Measure’. The first performance was in Boston on January 16, 1967. She left from London's Heathrow airport on January 15th 1967, and arrived back home on May 28th 1967.
